  1. Press Windows+R to open Run dialog (9 Ways to Open the Sound Settings in Windows 11 - TechBloat)
  2. Type mmsys.cpl and press Enter to open Sound Control Panel directly
  3. Navigate to Recording tab using Ctrl+Tab
  4. Select your microphone using arrow keys and press Enter for Properties
  5. Navigate to Advanced tab using Ctrl+Tab
  6. Use Tab to reach "Default Format" dropdown and select 48000 Hz option
